A gift doesn’t quite feel complete without the magic of wrapping paper. The act of unwrapping, filled with curiosity and excitement, brings as much joy as the gift itself, especially for children.
Wrappilyy enhances this experience by adding an extra layer of surprise to every present, making gifting more joyful and meaningful by creating a moment that teaches patience, builds anticipation, and nurtures gratitude.

Usability Testing
While wrapping papers add excitement, surprise, and effort to a gift, they’re usually not recyclable and often end up as waste in landfills just after one use.
Kids are often taught to care for the environment, not just as part of school curricula, but as an everyday value. So why not extend that learning to something as fun and exciting as gifts, by encouraging them to use materials more responsibly and appreciatively?
Say hello to the unwrappers...

Yash Soni
a.k.a The Ripper
Quick, messy, a human paper shredder, leaves behind a huge mess after opening gifts

Alia Rawat
a.k.a The Saver
Slow, meticulous, wrapping paper collector; peels one piece of tape at a time

Kavya Tiwari
a.k.a The Selector
Selective, observant, saves the paper if it has her favorite character on it, the rest go in the bin.
Basic social skills like saying “Thank you” and not littering are taught to children, but during moments of excitement, they often ignore them and are excused as “childhood behavior.”
Soft skills like patience and appreciation can’t be taught, only developed. Childhood offers a chance to build these, but they’re often overlooked during small moments like birthdays and parties.
Key Insights
Introducing Wrappilyy…
This wrapping paper turns packaging waste into an engaging, value-added experience. Instead of being torn and discarded, it keeps kids entertained with creative activities like origami, coloring, and mini-games, encouraging mindful unwrapping and extending playtime beyond the gift itself. The added QR codes lead to tutorial videos, making the product interactive and educational while opening new streams of revenue.
Wrappilyy boxes turn packaging into an engaging, meaningful part of the gifting process. By letting a child assemble the box, complete the character image, and add their friend’s name, the gift instantly gains a personal touch.
For the child receiving it, carefully opening the box along the character’s image turns unwrapping into an adventure. This not only adds excitement but also involves kids in the gifting process, whether they’re giving, receiving, or later reusing the box for play, making the experience far more interactive, memorable, and special than ordinary wrapping.
